An existing turnout catalogue can be replaced by another catalogue with the same catalogue name and unit (as they exist within the JSON file).
Note: The catalogue file names can differ but the 'name' within the JSON file must be the same.
The following catalogue modifications are supported:
- Adding and removing models
- Modifying model parameters
- Modifying model parameter values
- Click Rail tab Content Turnout Catalogue to display the Turnout Catalogue dialog box.
- In the row for the catalogue that you want to replace, in the Replace column, click .
- Navigate to the location for the turnout catalogue. By default, this is C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\C3D 2024\eng\Data\Railway Design Standards\Turnout.
- Select the new catalogue and click Open.
The Map In-Use Turnout Model dialog box is displayed.
- Review the changes described in the Differences column.
Note: If the Differences column is blank, the in-use model was removed from the new catalogue. Select a replacement model to use from the Model (In New Catalogue) column.
- If you want to keep the existing catalogue loaded in the drawing, select the Keep the Old Content Catalogue tick box. The cached catalogue in the drawing will be renamed.
The Turnout Catalogue Replacement Results dialog box is displayed.
- Review the changes and optionally save the results by clicking Save As at the bottom of the dialog box.
