Modify a Connection Group

Learn how to change the master connection of a group, modify the properties of connections within a group or remove a connection from a group.

Remove a Connection from a Group

Any slave connection can be removed from the group. This will allow you to edit it independently from other connections in the group.

1. On the Tools tool palette, click (Remove joint from a joint group).
2. Select any part of the connection to be removed from the connection group and press Enter.

The selected connection is no longer part of the group. The properties can be changed independently from the group.

Change the Master Connection of a Group

1. Select any part of the connection you want to modify.
2. Right click and select Advance Joint Properties from the contextual menu.
3. In the properties dialog box, enable Upgrade to master. The selected joint becomes the master of the group.

Modify the Connection Properties within a Group

1. Select any part of a connection within the group, that you want to modify.
2. Right click and select Advance Joint Properties from the contextual menu.
3. In the properties dialog box, enable Upgrade to master. The selected connection becomes the master of the group.
4. In the connection properties dialog box, make the necessary settings.
