To Join the Faces of a Mass Element

Use this procedure to join previously split faces of a mass element. After the faces are joined, the mass element is converted to its original shape.

1. Select the mass element whose faces you want to join.
2. Click Mass Element tab Modify panel Join Faces.
3. Select the edge of the coplanar faces, and press Enter.

   The mass element is converted to its original shape, and the selected faces are joined into a single face.
