The obscured linetype can also be set in the Hidden Line Settings dialog box, Obscured Lines area, Linetype drop-down list.
An obscured line is a hidden line made visible by changing its color and linetype and is visible only when the HIDE or SHADEMODE commands are used.
Obscured linetypes are independent of zoom level, unlike regular linetypes. The linetype values are defined as follows:
