Group Objects (Unnamed Group)

The fastest way to group objects is to create an unnamed group.

  1. Select the objects you want to group.
  2. At the Command prompt, enter GROUP.

    The selected objects are grouped together into an unnamed group, which is assigned a default name such as *A1.

Create a Named Group

  1. At the Command prompt, enter GROUP.
  2. At the prompt, enter n and type a name for the group.
  3. Select the objects to group and press Enter.

Rename a Group

  1. At the Command prompt, enter GROUPEDIT.
  2. Select the group you want to rename.
  3. At the prompt, enter ren (rename).
  4. Enter a new name.
