Change the Setting of a System Variable
- Enter the system variable using one of the following options:
- In the Command prompt text box, type the full system variable name and press Enter or the Spacebar.
- If automatic command completion is turned on, start typing the system variable. Press the Tab key to switch to the system variable display. From the displayed list, select the variable you want to use and press Enter.
- Respond to any additional prompts by entering a value.
Display a List of System Variables
- At the command prompt, enter setvar.
- Enter ? and press Enter.
