To Add Parts In-Line to Pipe

1. Add a Pipe MvPart, as explained in Placing a Pipe MvPart in a Drawing.
2. To place the part on a pipe, move the cursor to a pipe segment to display a pipe end or pipe curve connector.
   

3. Click the pipe connector to place the part in-line to the pipe or anchored to a pipe end, and use the compass to specify a rotation angle.

After the part is inserted, you can use grips to rotate the part around the centerline of the pipe segment. You can also flip an in-line part, such as a check valve, to orient the part in the proper flow direction.
