Creates reference dimensions for Inventor link drawing views.
Note: Inventor Link is available only on 64-bit systems, and it is not installed by default.
List of Prompts
The following prompts are displayed.
- Select first object
- Specifies the object to dimension. The dimension type depends on the object you select. You can also use this prompt to specify the origin of the first extension line of a linear dimension.
- Select second object
- Specifies the second object to dimension. The dimension type depends on the object you selected in the previous prompt. You can also use this prompt to specify the origin of the second extension line of a linear dimension.
- Specify placement point
- Specifies where to place the dimension. Additionally, you can choose one of the following options:
- Undo - Undoes the previous selection
- Hor - Forces a horizontal dimension
- Ver - Forces a vertical dimension
- Par - Forces a parallel dimension
- Angle
- Forces an angular dimension
- Ord
- Forces an ordinate dimension
- Ref
- Places dimension text in brackets
- Basic
- Draws a box around the dimension text
