To Export Inventor Link Views to AutoCAD (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

Note: Inventor Link is available only on 64-bit systems, and it is not installed by default.

1. At the Command prompt, enter AMVIEWOUT.
2. To export the current layout, from the Source list, select Current Layout. To export specific views only:
   1. From the source list, select Select Views/Entities.
   2. Click Select. The dialog box hides.
   3. From the layout, click the drawing views you want to export and press ENTER The dialog box is displayed again.
3. In the File Name box, type the name of the file you want to export to.
4. Under Export Options, select the To new external file option and from the adjacent list, select the destination (Model Space or Layout).
5. In the Save as type box select the format you want to export to.
6. Click OK.

Note: If the layout contains two or more base views with different scales, they cannot be exported true scale via AMVIEWOUT at the same time. They can be exported at their current scales, and they can be exported true scale separately; but they cannot be exported true scale at the same time.
