To Hide or Unhide Centerlines (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

The procedure assumes that Automatic Centerlines is turned on in the Options dialog box. It also assumes that an Inventor link base view and another view of a part that includes a hole, a circular edge, or a fillet already exists in the drawing area.

Note: Inventor Link is available only on 64-bit systems, and it is not installed by default.
  1. At the Command prompt, enter AMVISIBLE.
  2. In the Desktop Visibility dialog box, select Hide.
  3. Select Centerlines, and then choose OK. The centerlines are no longer displayed in any drawing view.
  4. To redisplay the centerlines, enter AMVISIBLE.
  5. Select Unhide.
  6. Select Centerlines, and then choose OK. The centerlines are displayed in all views.
  7. To turn off the display of centerlines in one specific view, follow steps 1-2.
  8. Choose By View.
  9. Select the views to hide centerlines, and then press ENTER.
  10. Click OK.
