AMSPROCKET (Command)

Inserts the front view of a sprocket or pulley from a standard content library.

Summary

A wizard enables you to choose the type of the sprocket/pulley you are inserting. When you specify the number of teeth, the system automatically calculates the diameter. In the case of a sprocket, you get to select the chain before you specify the number of teeth.

The calculation process is controlled by the Pulleys and Sprockets dialog box.

List of Prompts

The following prompts are displayed.

Center of wheel

Specifies where to place the sprocket or pulley.

Rotation angle

Specifies how far to rotate the sprocket about its insertion point.
