The following diagram explains the workflow for importing a subassembly into Autodesk Civil 3D.
| Verify the geometry elements | Select each geometry element from the Flowchart, and verify the parameters in the Properties panel. |
| Preview the geometry | Verify the geometry in the Preview panel. |
| Confirm the packet settings | Review the settings and parameters panel to make sure the packet settings and parameters are correct. |
| Save the project | Use the menu bar to save the subassembly. |
| Import the subassembly into Autodesk Civil 3D | Refer to the Autodesk Civil 3D Help system for instructions. |
