To Add Symbols or Special Characters to Label Styles
In the
Label Style Composer
dialog box, click the
Layout
tab.
Select a component from the
Component Name
list.
Under
Text
, click the
Value
column for
Contents
, and then click
.
In the
Text Component Editor
dialog box, click the
Format
tab.
Click in the
Text Component Editor
window in the location where you want to add the symbol or special character.
Click Symbol.
From the list, select a symbol, such as degree, diameter, or plus/minus, or a non-breaking space.
The symbol is added to the label text at the cursor location.
To select a special character, click
Other
to display the Character Map dialog box.
Select a character, click
Select
, and then click
Copy
.
In the Text Editor window, place the pointer in the location where you want to add the special character.
Paste the copied character by either right-clicking and clicking
Paste
or pressing
Ctrl+V
.
