To Rotate a Traverse

  1. Create a traverse, or open an existing traverse.

    For more information, see To Open an Existing Traverse.

  2. In the Coordinate Geometry Editor dialog box, select the Scale and Rotate Output check box.

    The cells to the right of the check box become available.

  3. Enter a rotation value in either of two ways:
    • Specify a COGO point directions for the baseline (Direction 1) and adjusted (Direction 2) angles. For example, you could enter 1 to 2 as the baseline Direction 1), and then 2 to 4 (Direction 2) as the new direction. The difference between those two angles is the rotation angle. Click to specify the directions by picking locations in the drawing.
      Note: The difference between the Direction 1 and Direction 2 values is displayed in the Rotation Angle cell.
    • Enter a known angle in the Rotation Angle cell.
  4. On the main toolbar, click .
  5. Click Close.
