Use this dialog box to specify objects in the current drawing to be projected into a section view.
To highlight an object in the drawing, select its row in this table.
- Draw Crossings
- Specifies whether a marker is added to the section view to indicate where an object crosses a sample line. If a selected object does not actually cross the sample line, or is not within the specified
crossing tolerance value, a crossing is not drawn on the section view.
- Crossing Marker Style

Specifies the crossing marker style. Click <set all> for a category to specify the style for all objects of the category.
Note: When you project AutoCAD solids to section views, and choose to display crossings, the solid can be drawn so that it represents the actual position of where the sample line crosses the solid. To display this type of crossing for a solid, select <Section> as the crossing marker style.
You can control the appearance of 3D solid crossings that use the <Section> style option by modifying the properties of the 3D solid layer.

- Specifies the crossing label style. Click <set all> for a category to specify the label style for all objects of the category.
Crossing label styles are specific to section views and can be found in the Section View Label Styles Crossing collection on the Settings tab in Toolspace.
- Draw Projections

Specifies whether projections are added to the section views.
Note: 3D polylines, feature lines, and survey figures can be displayed as crossings, but not as projections. The
Draw Projections,
Projection Style, and
Projection Label Style columns in the dialog box are grayed out for these object types.

Specifies the style of the projected object.

Specifies the label style of the projected object. Click <set all> for a category to specify the label style for all objects of the category.
Projection label styles are specific to section views and can be found in the Section View Label Styles Projection collection on the Settings tab in Toolspace.

Elevation Options

Specifies how the elevation of each object is determined.

Use Object: The elevation is read from the object properties.

Surface: The object is set to the elevation of a selected surface.

Manual: The object is set to the elevation specified in the
Elevation Value column.

<set all>: Used at the category level to specify the elevation option for all projected objects in the category.

Elevation Value

Specifies the actual elevation of the projected object when the
Elevation Options property is set to
Manual. Click <set all> for a category to specify an elevation for all objects of the category that are set to the
Manual
Elevation Options property.
Displays the elevation value for the object when the
Elevation Options property is set to
