In a pressure network, you can break a pipe in a pipe run or join two pipe runs.
Break a pipe in a pipe network, resulting in two separate pipe runs
- Select a pipe run in the pressure network. The Pressure Network Plan Layout tab opens.
- On the Pressure Network Plan Layout tab, click Modify panel Break Pipe Run
Find.
- Pick a point on the pipe run for the break.
The pipe is split into two separate pipe runs in the same pressure network.
- Use the
pipe run grips to further adjust your drawing.
Join two pipe runs into a single independent pipe run
Connected pipes must have their end point deflection grips snapped together in order to be merged.
- Select a pipe run in the pressure network. The Pressure Network Plan Layout tab opens.
- On the Pressure Network Plan Layout tab, click Modify panel Merge Pipe Runs
Find.
- Select the first pipe run.
- Select the second pipe run to merge into the first pipe run.
The pipe run is merged and a fitting is placed.
- Use the
pipe run grips to further adjust your drawing.
