You can specify a point location using grid northing and easting values. 
  
 Grid settings are required in the drawing, including the zone, the coordinate system, and any applied transformations. 
  
 
  Transformation settings for the drawing may include a base point, a rotation angle, or another reference point. 
  
 
 
When you are prompted to enter a point in a command, do one of the following: 
	  Click 
		  Transparent  tab Plan  panel Grid Northing Grid Easting  
		   Find . 
		 
Right-click to display the 
		  Transparent Commands  context menu Grid Northing Grid Easting . 
		 
Activate the Transparent Commands toolbar and select 
		  Grid Northing Grid Easting  
		   
Enter 
		  'gn . 
		 
 
Enter a grid northing value. 
   
Enter a grid easting value. 
   
If you are prompted, enter an elevation. For more information, see
