An episode collection is used to store the start and end times of episodes, or events that occur in the system. Episode details are edited and viewed in the Episode Collection Editor.
Episode data may be generated from the following:
Episode collection data can subsequently be used to determine peak values in simulation results/time varying data when carrying out Extreme Value Analysis when generating an Extreme Value Analysis Custom Graph.
In addition, an episode collection can also be used in a run to determine start and end times of events for simulations.
Episodes can be automatically generated from Statistical report data.
To generate episodes from statistical reports
The following operations will be carried out:
Note that any episodes previously displayed in the grid will be overwritten.
The graph at the bottom of the editor gives a graphical representation of the episodes in the grid together with the episodes belonging to the selected statistical reports. Selecting a grid row highlights the corresponding episode in the graph and vice versa.
