Importing Data from an InfoWorks Network to a SWMM Network

To import network data from an ICM InfoWorks network to an ICM SWMM network

1. Ensure that the SWMM network, which you want to import the InfoWorks network data into, is open on the GeoPlan.
2. Select the ImportModelfrom InfoWorks network option from the Network menu.

   The Import InfoWorks network dialog is automatically displayed. The name of the SWMM network open on the GeoPlan is contained in the read-only SWMM network box.

3. From the Explorer window, drag the InfoWorks network that you want to import the network data from and drop it into the InfoWorks network box.
4. Click OK, and the applicable items will be exported from the InfoWorks network and imported to the SWMM network.

ICM uses its SWMM5 importer and exporter to transfer most of the data between the networks.
