A Results selector (
) is a database item that limits the results generated from a
run to only include the attributes you are primarily interested in.
The attributes are selected using the Results Selection dialog, which is displayed when a Results selector is opened.
You can create as many Results selector items as required but only one Results selector item can be included in a run.
Configuring a Results selector
To configure a Results selector
- Open the Results selector item and the Results Selection dialog is displayed. In this dialog:
- Choose the type of results you want to be generated from the list in the Filter by results field.
The list of result classes, displayed in the Results classes grid, will be limited to the classes that apply to the selected type of results.
- In the Results classes grid, all result classes are checked by default. If you want to exclude some of the classes, remove the checks from the applicable boxes.
- Choose the types of attributes for the selected results classes, which you want to include in the results, from the list in the Filter by attribute type field.
The list of attributes displayed in the Attributes grid will be limited to the attributes that apply to the selected type.
- In the Attributes grid, all result classes are checked by default. If you want to exclude any of the attributes, remove the checks from the applicable boxes.
- Click Save to save the configuration.
- Click Close to close the dialog.
When the Results selector is included in a run, the simulation results from the run will only include the attributes for the result classes specified in the Results Selection dialog.
