To Save an iPart as a DWF or iFeature

You can publish DWF data or create table-driven iFeatures from iParts.

Publish DWF Data from an iPart

Produce a DWF file containing an iPart table.

1. In the browser, activate the iPart table.
2. Click File Save As Save Copy As.
3. Specify the DWF file type and appropriate options.

Note: Publishing a sheet metal iPart member can include a flat pattern. Publishing a sheet metal iPart factory can include all folded and flat patterns for all members in addition to the iPart table.

Create Table-Driven iFeature from an iPart

• On the ribbon, click Manage tab Author panel Extract iFeature .

  Once the table-driven iFeature is saved to the catalog location, use iFeature Author to change the table.

  Note: There is no link between the original iPart and the iFeature. Save the part file if you want to preserve a copy of the original iPart.
