To Combine Components into Simplified Part

Use Create Simplified Part to create a simple part (.ipt) . All included components will be combined into a simple part.

1. Assembly (iam) file: On the ribbon, click Assemble tab expand the Simplification panel and click Create Simplified Part.
2. Specify the Combine Style

   You can choose between:

   • A single solid body with seams between planar faces merged.
   • A single solid body with seams between planar faces maintained.
   • Maintain each solid as a separate body.
3. Specify the filename, file template, and the location where the file will be saved.
4. Click OK.

The new file is saved and opened for viewing or editing.

Note: Hidden components are not included in the part.
