Create or edit cold well in feeding system

The Cold Well command is used to create a cold well. You can also use this command to edit or delete a cold well.

Create cold well

1. In the Mold Layout tab, click Cold Well.
2. In the Cold Well dialog box, specify the type of cold well that you want to create.
3. In the graphics window, click the runner sketch on which you want to place the cold well.
4. In the Profile section, change the dimensions.
5. Enter the Ratio value to adjust the cold well position on the runner.
6. Click Apply or OK.

Edit cold well

1. In the Mold Design browser, under Cold Well, right-click a Cold Well node, and then click Edit Feature.
2. In the Cold Well dialog box, modify the parameters.
3. Click OK.

Delete cold well

• In the Mold Design browser, under Cold Well, right-click a Cold Well node, and then click Delete.
