Place at Component Origin

What's New: 2020.2

Places and constrains a new component aligned to and coincident with the origin of a selected component within an existing assembly.

  1. On the ribbon, click Assemble tab Productivity panel Place at Component Origin .
  2. Click to select an existing component within your assembly.

    The origin of this component will be used to align the new component.

  3. In the Open dialog box, select one or more components to place. Use the standard windows keyboard shortcuts, CTRL or SHIFT, to multi-select the components you want to place.
  4. Click Open to place the selection and close the dialog box.
