Save and re-use a selection

You can save selected objects, components, or groups in a quick select set. These sets are useful for:

• Quickly selecting commonly used sets of objects or components.
• Saving a complex selection so you can re-use it later, without having to reselect each object or component.

You can also create other types of sets for selection if you need to add the set to a partition - see Sets and partitions for more information.

To create a quick select set

1. Select multiple objects, components on an object, or groups.
2. Select Create > Sets > Quick Select Set.
3. Enter a name for the set.

   You also click the Add to Shelf button to add it as an icon to the current shelf for easy access.
