This window appears when you click the
Add Pose button or choose
in the
Pose Editor to create a pose, and the Pose Interpolator node is not already connected to a Blend Shape deformer. You can select an existing Blend Shape deformer or create a new one here to which the pose will be associated.
- Select the
Create Pose Shape option to activate these options so that you can create a corrective blend shape that is associated with this pose. If the pose is not meant to drive a shape, deselect this option.
- Blend Shape Deformer: The blend shape deformer to which you will add the pose shapes. If one or more blend shape deformer already exist on the skin mesh, select one from this list.
Otherwise, select
New to create a blend shape deformer on the object. The pose shape you create will be added as a target shape to this blend shape deformer.
- Name: Displays the name of the blend shape deformer you selected in the list above.
If you're creating a new blend shape deformer, enter a name for it here. You may want to use PSD as a prefix or suffix to identify the purpose of this blend shape deformer.
- Base Mesh: The mesh on which you're creating the blend shape deformer:
- Bound to joint adds the blend shape deformer to the skin mesh that's currently bound to the joint that has the Pose Interpolator node.
- Selected: Select another mesh as the object to which to add the blend shape deformer.
- Deformation Order: Select where the blendShape node will exist in relation to the Skin deformer in the object's construction history. See the Advanced tab in
Blend Shape Options for information.
- Click
Create Pose Shape to create a new blend shape deformer and its pose-related target shape.
