Using this result

The Thermal conductivity tensor result can be used to examine the thermal conductivity in different directions and at different locations of the molded part.

• Correlate the Thermal conductivity tensor result with the Fiber orientation tensor result. As the fiber thermal conductivity is typical higher than the matrix thermal conductivity, the thermal conductivity in the part is normally higher in the direction along which most fibers are aligned than in other directions.
• Export the Thermal conductivity tensor result and use it in structural and thermal analyses.
