Tutorial A7: Post-Process the Results

In this procedure, you will animate the results to see the chain stretching under load.

  1. Right-click Results > Multiset Animation Settings.
  2. For Start Set, select TIME:0.000000e+00, and for End Set, select one of the highest time values, such as TIME:9.601825e-05.
  3. On the Contour Options tab, set Result Data to Stress, and Type to SOLID VON MISES STRESS.
  4. To run the animation, click Animate . To stop the animation, click Animate again.
