About P&ID Painter (Color by property)

You can display P&ID components in a color that matches pipe line group property values.

P&ID Painter affects only the display. While you are in P&ID Paint mode, the properties palette and commands (for example: chprop) continue to work with normal color and layer values.

If you print or export to DWG with P&ID Painter enabled, the P&ID Painter style is applied.
