Provides an alternative method to directly map properties from an external data source.
Use the Map External Properties dialog box to add a data source and specify its mapping properties. Click Map Properties to add a virtual property or map to an existing property in Project Setup.
Important: When the external and Plant 3D key properties are matched, any existing data in the specified Plant 3D properties are overwritten.
Note: In Project Setup, the virtual property is listed as "Mapped" property type.
