To locate a plant object in a drawing and the Data Manager

You can use the Data Manager to find a specific object (pipe, heat exchanger, or valve, for example), or you can select the object in the drawing to locate its associated data in the Data Manager.

1. On the ribbon, click Home tab Project panel Data Manager.
2. In the Data Manager, in the drop-down list, click Current Drawing Data.
3. Do one of the following:
   • To locate a Plant object in the drawing area, on the Data Manager toolbar, click Show All Items . Click the row header of the record in the data table.
   • To locate a record in the Data Manager, on the Data Manager toolbar, click Show Selected Items . Click the Plant object in the drawing area.
     Note:

     The data for the selected Plant object is displayed at the top of the data table. If the selected item was filtered out by a current filter, the filter is removed.
