Once the Calculation Options dialog box for foundations is opened and the General tab is selected, the dialog box shown below will appear on the screen.
The options in the dialog box above enable determining values of the reinforcement cover c1 and c2 in a designed foundation.
In addition, depending on a code selected, the following options may be available:
- the Polish code - a value of the safety factor for punching/shear
- the Polish code and EC2 / EC2 NAD - generation of longitudinal reinforcement due to punching
- the French code - account taken of seismic dispositions, and a sensitivity condition (a condition for the minimal reinforcement area resulting from the code condition specified in the BAEL 91 code art. A.4.2: A = 0.207* b * h * ftj / fe).
For Eurocode 2, you can use the option that specifies a value of the coefficient of friction for pocket foundations (Section 10.9.6.3) and the Deviations button; click it to open the Cover Deviations dialog.
