Use guide grids to align views in the same location from sheet to sheet.

Guide grids help you align views on a sheet. They can also help you arrange views so they appear in the same location on several sheets. For example, in a project with multiple floor plans, use a guide grid to place the floor plans in the same location from sheet to sheet. Begin by defining a guide grid for your project. To do this, open a sheet view, then on the View tab, click Guide Grid.
In the Assign Guide Grid dialog, enter a name for your grid and click OK. The grid is added to the sheet view. Select the grid to resize it, move it, or change the guide spacing. In this example, we'll change the guide spacing to use a 50mm unit. Then we'll move the grid so an intersection falls at the corner of the drawing space of the title block.
After you create a guide grid, you can apply it to multiple sheets, and it's placed in the same position on all sheets. If you change the position or layout of the guide grid, you'll see the change reflected on all of the sheets where you applied the guide grid. To demonstrate this, we'll place a view onto a sheet by dragging the view from the Project Browser. Once it's placed, it can be repositioned with the Move tool.
The grid and level datums in the view can be snapped to the guide grid, and if the view contains reference planes, or the crop region is visible, you can snap those elements to the guide grid as well.
In this example, we'll use the intersection of grid line 1 and grid line J to locate the 3 floor plans in the same position across 3 sheets. Use guide grids in your projects to aid in sheet layout, and to maintain visual consistency across multiple sheets.
