Learn publish view of your model to the cloud for project stakeholder to review. Project stakeholders do not need Revit to review and comment on your model.
The Shared View feature allows you to share views of your model with project stakeholders. The shared views are uploaded to the cloud, you then share a link that allows for online viewing of the model. The recipient of the link does not need Revit. The views open in a browser where the recipient can navigate the view, markup, and make comments on the view. You are notified via e-mail when markups or comments are added to your shared views.
Use shared views any time you need to communicate your design with extended team members who may or may not have Revit. Views can be quickly created, shared, and marked up. The speed and ease of sharing makes shared view perfect for times when design decisions need to be made quickly. 3D views shared can be fully navigated and explored in a browser leading to greater understanding and better communication with all project stakeholders.
To create a use shared views, you need to have an Autodesk account and have a current subscription to Revit. The people you share the views with via the link do not need an account or Revit. In order to make markups or comments on a shared view you must have an Autodesk ID and be signed in.
