System Editing Tools are available when a system is selected.
The System Editor provides tools that you use to modify systems in a project. The System Editor provides tools that let you perform the following functions:
Remove Components from a System
This tool lets you select components in a view to be deleted from a system. Prior to removing a component from an existing system, you must first delete any ductwork that connects the component to an existing system.
Select Equipment
You can select the source equipment for a system using the Select Equipment tool available from the system editor. The source equipment will act as the end of the critical path. If the source equipment is not selected, Revit will determine the end of the critical path on its own.
Modify Duct System Properties
You can modify the system properties for a system using the System Properties tool available from the system editor.
