Specify Fluids for Fabrication Services

Use the Fluids tab in the Fabrication Settings dialog to specify a fluid and temperature for each fabrication service.

The Fluids table contains an entry for each fabrication service in the current configuration. For each fabrication service, you can select a fluid and temperature, however, you cannot edit the dynamic viscosity or density settings.

Fluids and Temperatures for fabrication piping services use the same settings from pipe settings as design piping systems.

Note: Setting the Fluid to "Air" will apply the density and dynamic viscosity from Duct Settings.

1. Click Systems tab Fabrication panel .
   Tip: If the MEP Fabrication Parts palette is visible, you can also click the Settings button to open the dialog.
2. Click the Fluids tab and locate the fabrication service for which you want to specify a fluid.
3. Select a fluid from the drop-down list.
4. Select a temperature from the drop-down list.
5. Click OK.
