Pressure reports evaluate a system and provide loss coefficients for system elements.

You can generate a pressure loss report for duct or pipe systems in your project, but you should first be sure to use the duct sizing or pipe sizing tools as appropriate for the systems in your design. To ensure meaningful and accurate results, you should also use the System Inspector to determine if a system is well connected before attempting to generate this report.
To generate the report for duct, you can click the Duct Pressure Loss Report tool on the Analyze tab, and then use the dialogs to select the systems you want to include. Or, you can select the systems first, either in the drawing area or in the System Browser, and then use the shortcut menu's Generate Duct Pressure Loss option.
Next, you specify the fields - such as diameter, height, and width - that you want to include in the report. You can also specify whether additional information such as system information and critical path are displayed in the report.
If desired, save the report format. If you have saved report formats previously, you can select one from the list. To save a report format, click Save, and enter a name for the format. Note that the pressure loss reports for duct and pipe each have their own report formats. When the report has been generated, you can save the output as an HTML file or a CSV file. Reports are saved in the same location as the default template.
