Add conduit to your model to create an electrical power system.
This video demonstrates the following:
When you use Revit to design an electrical power system, you can model conduit in your design. Currently in Revit, conduit elements are not part of the electrical system and do not provide analytical information to other connected elements.
Similar to the way you model cable tray, draw conduit by setting an offset and defining the path. You can connect conduit to a cable tray run at any location along the cable tray.
You can also connect conduit to electrical and mechanical equipment if the equipment contains a conduit connector.
As you connect equipment to a surface connector, you enter surface connection mode. In this mode, you can define the connection point for the surface connector.
When you draw vertical conduit, rise/drop symbols are displayed in plan view.
Placing conduit is just one phase in the process of creating an electrical power system.
