Use the Outdoor Air Information dialog to specify the settings used to calculate outdoor information for the zone.
To access this dialog, select a zone and in the Properties palette for Outdoor Air Information, click Edit.
Select one of the following options from the Outdoor Air Information dialog:
- From Space Type: By default for a newly created zone or space, the outdoor air information for a space will be propagated from the space type as defined in the
Space Type Settings dialog.
Note: When you upgrade a pre-Revit 2018 model, the outdoor air information in the space will use the values from the zone.
- From Zone: Outdoor air information uses the values below.
-
Outdoor Air per Person: The amount of outdoor air required for each person (in a space) for all spaces in the zone. This value is specified for each zone.
-
Outdoor Air per Area: The amount of outdoor air per occupied square area of all spaces in the zone. This value is specified for each zone.
-
Air Changes per Hour: The number of times per hour that the air volume of all occupied spaces in the zone is replaced. The value is specified for each zone.
Note: The heating and cooling loads are calculated based on the value for the Outdoor Airflow. The Outdoor Airflow is propagated from the zone outdoor air or the space type input, depending on the Outdoor Air Method. If a zone has multiple spaces, the sum of the Outdoor Airflow for all spaces in the zone is used.
Note: You can rerun loads with different options selected and values specified.
