The message is typically encountered when the third-party prerequisites are not working properly.

Solution:

• Repair/reinstall the Microsoft Visual C++ redistributables package. See How to remove and reinstall Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables packages.
• Repair/reinstall all of the prerequisites listed here: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/revit/learn-explore/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Prerequisites-for-Revit-2022.html
• Run your computer's Windows Updates.
• Reboot the system.
