Error: Element <element ID> has become corrupt at some time before this session.
You may encounter this error when opening a Revit file. Record the element ID reported by the error message for future reference.
To correct the problem, open the project file using the Audit option, as follows:
The Audit option scans, detects, and fixes corrupt elements in the project. When using this option, it may take some time to open the file.
If you continue to have problems, determine which element is causing the problem, as follows:
In previous releases, a third-party tool sometimes contributed to the corruption of the Project Information element.
If the Select by ID tool indicates that the corrupt element is Project Information, do the following:
If the element corruption occurs in a workshared model, you can open a local copy of the model that does not display the error message.
Make sure that these are the only 2 files open in Revit.
