A warning displays when you attempt to Split/Sub-Divide/Cut a toposolid, and the geometry cannot be regenerated properly.
Issue: Revit must be able to create a reasonably accurate geometry at building scale. The application has implicit assumptions built in about both the scale and accuracy necessary to produce useful geometry. Boolean operations like those listed above must leave geometry that can produce useful geometry.
Solution: The causes of these errors are similar to those you may encounter when performing cut or join actions. See Cut or Join Geometry Fails.
