Use the Line Patterns dialog to create a new line pattern.
- Click Manage tab
Settings panel
Additional Settings drop-down
Line Patterns.
- In the Line Patterns dialog, click New.
- In the Line Pattern Properties dialog, enter a name for the pattern.
- Click in the value for Type, and select either a dash or a dot.
- If you selected a dash, click under Value, and enter a value. This is the length of the dash. Because dots are all drawn at 1.5 points, they do not require an associated value.
- In the next row, select space for Type.
Revit LT requires that you follow a dash or dot with a space.
- Click under Value, and enter a value for the space.
- Repeat the procedure until the pattern is complete.
- Click OK.
In the Line Patterns dialog, the new line pattern displays in the list of available patterns.
- Click OK.
The new line pattern is stored in the project only.
