High Importance
This update resolves an issue with the extensible storage schema that impacts addons and projects upgraded to Revit 2024. Version 2024.2 is compatible with the previous 2024.1.1 update. 2024.2 and 2024.1.1 can be used concurrently for project work.
The 2024.1.1 and 2024.2 updates are important for work-sharing users. It is essential that all project team members are using these releases of Revit or newer. This prevents the potential reintroduction of the extensible storage schema problem to models worked on in versions of Revit prior to 2024.1.1.

API
Fixed an issue in which API function Parameter.Definition.GetDataType().TypeId returned obsolete specs (spec schemas that inherit from the obsolete base specs "autodesk.spec:spec.int64-1.0.0", "autodesk.spec:spec.measurable-1.0.0", and "autodesk.spec:spec.string-1.0.0".).
Added an API for adding points (plural) on SlabShapeEditor.
Fixed an issue when an element with Entity attached is operated by a user in an upgraded file and a previous version file is opened in the same session containing the same schema.

Beam System

Dynamo for Revit
Fixed an issue related to the graph nodes functionality in Dynamo for Revit.

Energy Model
Ensured the analytical surface is non-sliding door type when a panel inside a curtain wall is assigned as a door.

Fill Patterns

Fixed an issue that caused an exterior wall analytical surface from having a valid ConstructionIdRef assigned in a gbXML.

Improved stability when importing or linking a particular PDF file.

Prevented potential stability issues due to periodic spline-based surfaces created from imported or linked CAD geometry.
Fixed an issue in which Revit could potentially produce empty or invalid geometry when importing an elliptical cone or cylinder from DWG, DGN, of DXF files.

Fixed an issue in which users were prompted for the original RVT.msi file during installation of updates when Revit is installed side-by-side with another Autodesk product that includes the Revit Interoperability component, such as Navisworks Manage.

Interference
Fixed an issue where the Interference Check tool was disabled when the Shared Views Palette was opened.

MEP Analytical Systems
Corrected an issue where an analytical surface for an opening combined of a group of doors and windows was assigned an inappropriate construction.
Added support for creating project and shared parameters for building and space types that may be used by the version of gbXML read by OpenStudio.
