Release Notes - Autodesk® CFD 2024.0.1 Update
This update addresses the following items:
- Restored the interaction between Autodesk® CFD and Autodesk® Vault.
- Fixed an issue with creating a Word document with simulation results in the Report Generator.
- Fixed an issue with selecting and editing derived parts from the Results browser in the Design Study Bar.
- Fixed an issue with adding points by manually entering coordinates or reading from a file in XY Plots.
- Improved reliability of cloud solves.
- Improved meaningfulness of error messages.

Important: You will need to update the Network License Manage (NLM) on the license server to the version that comes with CFD 2024. Older versions of the NLM software will not work with CFD 2024.

Installation Preparation
Prior to installing Autodesk® CFD 2024, you will need to uninstall any pre-release (Beta) versions of Autodesk® CFD 2024.
To check if an earlier version has previously been installed, open the Control Panel (Start > Control Panel), select Programs and Features, and look for entries titled Autodesk® CFD 2024.
To uninstall an earlier version of Autodesk® CFD 2024:
- Verify that Autodesk® CFD is not running.
- Open the Control Panel (Start > Control Panel).
- Select Programs and Features.
- Select the entry you want to remove, and click Uninstall/Change to launch the uninstall procedure.
- Restart the computer to complete the process.
Additionally, you should shut down any CAD systems that are currently open.
