Job Monitor
The Autodesk® CFD Job Monitor is an external utility that tracks the Autodesk® CFD analysis activity of the computers listed in the Solver Computers dialog. For each machine, the following information is provided:
- Simulations running on each Solver computer and their respective owners
- The current iteration of each simulation
- The amount of CPU resources used on each Solver computer
Use the Job Monitor to determine when shared computers are available when running remotely.
Note: The Solver Computers dialog lists all available Solver computers. It is frequently used with Remote Computing and HPC (High Performance Computing) to designate computers available.
To open the Job Monitor
- From the Windows® Start menu, click Autodesk > CFD 20XX > Job Monitor.
- From Autodesk® CFD: click Setup (tab) > Simulation (panel) > Job Monitor.
To stop a running scenario
- Right click on a scenario, and click Stop Job.

Note: The Job Monitor is not used when running in the cloud. Instead, you can use the Simulation Compute Manager to monitor solution progress.
