Job Monitor

The Autodesk® CFD Job Monitor is an external utility that tracks the Autodesk® CFD analysis activity of the computers listed in the Solver Computers dialog. For each machine, the following information is provided:

Simulations running on each Solver computer and their respective owners
The current iteration of each simulation
The amount of CPU resources used on each Solver computer

Use the Job Monitor to determine when shared computers are available when running remotely.

Note: The Solver Computers dialog lists all available Solver computers. It is frequently used with Remote Computing and HPC (High Performance Computing) to designate computers available.

To open the Job Monitor

From the Windows® Start menu, click Autodesk > CFD 20XX > Job Monitor.
From Autodesk® CFD: click Setup (tab) > Simulation (panel) > Job Monitor.

To stop a running scenario

Right click on a scenario, and click Stop Job.

Note: The Job Monitor is not used when running in the cloud. Instead, you can use the Simulation Compute Manager to monitor solution progress.
