This section contains options for default file type base import, scene, and path settings.
Verify Geometry - During import, checks the structure of the geometry is suitable for rendering when this option is enabled.
Optimize Geometry - Rebuilds geometry optimized for the VRED Scenegraph when this option is enabled.
Max Parallel Processes - Determines the maximum number of parallels used for processing when this option is enabled. Changing this value increases memory usage.
Temporary Path - Displays a temporary path used for file conversions. Use the icon to the right to browse to a different location when this option is enabled. If this is empty, a system tmp path will be used.
Changing the import temporary path of a file does not longer require a VRED restart. The change will be applied to the Import dialog the next time it is opened. However, if the Import dialog is open during the change, the path will NOT update immediately.
Keep in mind, when importing an ATF file, if the path is incorrect, the import will fail. However, when importing only non-ATF files, the path will not be validated; therefore, even if the path is invalid, the import will succeed, and no warnings will be written to the terminal.
Converter Output Format - Sets the write format for the ATF converter when this option is enabled. Choose from:
Image Sharing - Sets when images with the same contents will be shared when this option is enabled. Select one of the following options:
