Video captions: Activate Raytracing in the toolbar. Open the Material Editor, create a plastic material. Allocate it to a geometry you want to define as the light source. Select DefaultEnvironment. Activate Is Visible and adjust the Exposure to 0. Now, there’s no more lighting in the scene. Select Plastic Material. Click the Incandescence section. Adjust the Intensity to 1000 and the Color to white. Activate Use as Light Source. Your geometry will now be transformed into a light source. Here, too, the size of the light source depends on the intensity. Maximum flexibility is achieved when you work with object lights. Your lights can influence every form, as well as light emission textures, via Use Texture.
