- Make sure you close all AutoCAD instances before you run the migration.
- Select the settings or files you want to migrate (at least one category) and the prior release from which you want to migrate the settings.
Note: The migration tool migrates settings from up to two previous versions.
- Click the
check mark button to start the migration.
Note: In case the languages are different between versions, a warning message appears, notifying you that the migration cannot proceed. - A dialog appears to notify you when the migration is complete. From this dialog, you can also access the log file containing the migration summary report.
Note: Any database replaced in the current Advance Steel version will be backed up in its containing folder, in a Backup subfolder that also contains the date and time of the backup.
